This product grew from a simple idea: People should be woken as naturally and gently as possible. So, our KOOKOO EarlyBird alarm clock relies not on electronic bells and whistles but on a dawn chorus. You can choose between the crowing of the rooster, the warbling of the golden oriole, the familiar call of the cuckoo, a raven in a meadow, or the harmonious tones of a yoga gong. The birdsongs are all authentic nature recordings made by French ornithologist and bioacoustics researcher Jean-Claude Roché – to make sure you get out of bed feeling chirpy every morning.
Whether you’re a night owl or a lark, the “wake up happy” function makes it easy to rise and shine. The three-stage crescendo takes the alarm tone from quiet to medium to loud. The dial can be illuminated at the touch of a button so you can see what time it is in the dark. And if it’s just too early to wake up, the snooze function lets you doze a little longer.
