The golden KooKoo clock
Clockwork: radio controlled
Every hour, on the hour, an original birdsong is heard. Chosen among 12 native songbirds – from the blackbird to the nightingale and the oriole. Each bird sings its own melody. It makes telling the time both entertaining and enjoyable. The original field recordings ensure high-quality sound. At dusk the birds go to sleep, an integrated light sensor automatically switching the songs off when it gets dark. The colourful, realistic illustrations are by the renowned graphic artists Kilian Mullarney and Dan Zetterström. An informative brochure is included and describes the distinguishing features, calls and habitats of the birds illustrated.
